Why small businesses and start-up companies matter

When I joined our company a few years ago, I saw how many times we would reject an inquiry with short-run projects for custom boxes or luxury paper bags, and other products.
We also saw how desperate some of the customers were to get these small projects done with local companies at affordable costs.

Our focus was different then and it is way different today.
We grew, observed, and we understand now how important it is to cover small projects the same way as any large one and to stop viewing the small inquiries as a waste of time. We also listen carefully to our customers’ overall vision and gently guide them where the packaging idea needs to be accomplished by a different approach, with different materials or finishes.

In the past few years, we gained a trusted customer database with short-run custom packaging. These customers are approaching us with new small projects throughout the year, and most of these projects are great to be involved in. From as small as a one-off rigid presentation box to 5 off luxury paper bags for showcase or exhibition, we can cover it all. We also help with rush orders, wherever possible, where customers have been let down by their suppliers.

Another case when short run packaging is a great option is special edition packaging. Here are coming to the scene also some well-established companies with occasional variations to their packaging or when adding a special edition product to their range. The same is for companies with a variety of SKUs when launching a new range of products but are not sure yet which one will perform the best on the market. There may be an inquiry for a short run of one or two SKUs only, the ones that perform the best and are selling out.
